Dear Esteemed Members of ICF Malaysia,

With profound gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility, I step into the role of President of ICF Malaysia. I am truly honored and humbled to have the opportunity to lead this vibrant and dynamic community of professionals who are passionate about the transformative power of coaching. We began this journey with a collective vision and interpretation of our strategic ecosystem from the EXCO for ICF Malaysia:

1. ICF Malaysia Strategic Ecosystem: Building on the strategic pillars developed in 2022, we are now moving towards a more cohesive and integrated approach. The three strategic pillars have evolved into an ecosystem, reflecting our commitment to fostering a holistic and unified ICF community. This ecosystem is not just about alignment; it’s about synergy—where each pillar supports and enhances the others, creating a stronger and more resilient ICF Malaysia.
   
2. Vision for 2024-2026: Our vision for the next two years centers on “Effectiveness, Growth, and Sustainability for ICF Malaysia and Our Community.” This vision reflects our collective mindset to innovate and transform how we work, ensuring our efforts are sustainable and impactful. We will achieve this by implementing robust processes, policies, structures, and the strategic use of technology.

Through a planning session with our valued members, we gathered thoughts and aspirations for ICF Malaysia’s future. Following this, the Executive Committee team engaged in strategic planning sessions to refine our vision and align our efforts with members’ feedback. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all members who participated in the session and the online survey. Your input has been instrumental in shaping our strategic direction.

I am excited to share with you the key outcomes of the sessions, which we believe will resonate with our collective aspirations:

Members Engagement and Development: We have heard your voices, and we understand that engagement and development are key to your experience with ICF Malaysia. To this end, we are rolling out activities, initiatives, and events focused on five critical areas:

1. New Members Onboarding: Ensuring that new members feel welcomed and integrated into our community from day one.
2. Branding & Visibility: Enhancing the visibility of ICF Malaysia and our members, both within the coaching community and beyond.
3. Networking: Creating more opportunities for meaningful connections among members, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration.
4. Learning & Development: Providing ongoing opportunities for professional and personal growth and development, ensuring that our members are equipped to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.

Recruitment Drive: Growing our community by attracting new members who share our values and commitment to excellence in coaching.

Branding & Visibility: Enhancing the visibility of ICF Malaysia and our members, both within the coaching community and beyond.

As we embark on this journey together, I am filled with optimism and confidence in what we can achieve as a united community. I believe that with your continued support and active participation, we will not only meet but exceed our goals, creating a legacy of excellence that will endure for years to come.
