The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of trained coaching professionals. There are currently more than 35,000 coaches worldwide, with more than 29,000 Credential-holders and more than 140 chapters around the world.
The ICF Malaysia Chapter was formed with a passion to grow a community of professional coaches in this nation. In 2002, the Chapter’s Founding President Michael Heah gathered a small group of coaches in order to learn from one another and spur one another’s businesses forward.
In 2018, the third ICF Malaysia President Wai K Leong revised the Chapter Formation Agreement to pave the way for ICF to be represented visually through the application of the ICF Brand visuals and logo. ICF Malaysia gained presence in the global community when Leong became a Board Director of the ICF global organisation.
Today, ICF Malaysian has grown to become a 150-member strong community, signifying the progress that professional coaching has made in the last decade. We continue to forge ahead to realize ICF’s vision to advance coaching and and make it an integral part of a thriving Malaysian society.
ICF Malaysia organises leadership and coaching conferences to strengthen the bonds among our community of professional coaches, as well as provide learning opportunities for organizations and individuals seeking coaching and leadership development.
