Session Description
Team coaching is a complicated process. There are varied aspects about a team that team coaches must consciously look into in order to effectively coach them towards becoming truly synergized, productive and high value-creating.
Among these many aspects, this session will focus specifically on the internal dynamics of a team – how the team members relate and communicate with each other. Participants will learn the typical behaviors of team members in their journey towards achieving synergy and where they normally get stuck. Approaches and skills team coaches can use to help a team get unstuck, move forward and accelerate their development will be explored.
For aspiring team coaches – the session will provide them with team coaching fundamentals or will increase their knowledge (and even interest) about team coaching.
For practicing team coaches – the session may enrich their tool box with more approaches they can use to help teams become synergized.

About The Speaker(s)
Julius Ordonez, MCC, ACTC
Julius Ordoñez is the President and owner of Benchmark Consulting, an international firm providing coaching, training and consulting solutions. He has more than 20 years of solid experience in the areas of organizational, leadership and team development, executive coaching, management consulting, business management, mentoring and writing.
He is Philippines’ first-ever ICF Master Certified Coach and among the world’s first to receive the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching. He served as one of the subject matter experts (SME) for an ICF Global project that looked into the tasks, skills and traits of a professional coach, leading to the update of the ICF Core Competencies. He also acted in the same capacity for the development of the ICF Team Coaching Competencies.
He was the 2015-2017 President of Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC), the reputable organization of professional coaches in the Asia Pacific Region and the Founder of the ICF Philippines Chapter. Through his ICF-accredited coaching courses, he has trained and mentored hundreds of ICF professional coaches and thousands of leaders from around the world. He has helped local and multinational companies build a coaching culture.
He partners with client individuals, teams and organizations in attaining their critical goals and in realizing their fullest potential. He has personally coached, mentored, and trained top executives (C-level position, directors and department heads) and leadership teams from the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, many of whom come from leading companies which include among others the World Bank and Asian Development Bank, and multinationals such as Nestle, Citibank, Avon, Kantar, Prudential Life, Manulife, Abbott Laboratories, Bayer, Novartis, Mondelez, Monde Nissin, Ericsson, Lafarge, Coca-Cola, Prulife UK, Sunlife of Canada, Boehringer Ingelheim, Standard Chartered Bank, Deloitte.
