Ahmad Laila or AL had almost 30 years working experience with a Global Fortune 500 Energy company Petronas. AL started his career as a Geologist and gradually his career started to progress into business strategic role and eventually into HR professional role. He also had multiple international assignment experiences throughout his career journey. As he progressed further in the organization, he was also appointed as Head of HR and HR Director to various business units/ subsidiaries under his previous organization. His last position was the Senior General Manager for Human Capital Expertise. His specialized areas are HR Business Strategic Partner, Leadership and Talent Management, Global Remuneration and HR Capability. . He is very passionate about mentoring and coaching, He is a Certified Professional Coach from Malaysia Corporate Coach Academy and Certified Ontological Coaching Practitioner. He obtained his Master in Applied Psychology in Coaching from HELP University in 2019. While in Petronas , he was active in coaching internal leaders through in house leadership programme and he was also the assessor for the talents in PETRONAS.
