In an era of pandemics, digital disruption, political turmoil and climate change, how can coaches make an impact on the world? Libby Robinson talks to us about how to use coaching beyond business to impact social structures (education, activists, politics, etc.) She will also discuss 2 possible future scenarios for coaching. She would love for you to actively engage and share your views.
In addition, she will talk about why you should help your organizational clients create a culture of encouragement versus “engagement” or “feedback cultures” and provide you with a free tool that your clients can use.
Finally, she will show Integral’s model on Total Wellness – beyond performance coaching, this model helps coaches open the territory for learning for clients, that wellness is a critical factor in optimal performance.
Libby is happy to do a 20-minute coaching at the conclusion of the conversation and take questions from the audience, throughout the event.
Libby will also encourage ICF Malaysia coaches to apply for scholarship for Integral’s Advanced Coaching Practicum which is a fully accredited ACSTH program.
Challenges & Problem Learn to Solve:
Participants will consider broader applications of coaching competencies outside of the traditional executive, business or life coaching towards more civic and systemic areas.
Participants will learn the distinction between feedback culture and a culture of encouragement and the neuroscience behind feedback and why most organizations struggle with this.
Participants will learn the 12 Dimensions of Integral’s Total Wellness Model and consider how they might use it to interact with a client.
Participants will learn some basic distinctions of “ontological coaching” and observe Libby coaching so that they can observe an MCC and compare and contrast their own coaching.
