Session Description

Participants will enjoy a very active and interactive session about the new ICF Team Coaching Competencies developed in 2019-2020 . Karl Van Hoey (MCC), together with a team of experts, has contributed  as a senior subject matter expert in the ICF Taskforces, to the development of this new set of competencies. So, he will share, with participants a unique look into what happened behind the scenes of ICF in 2019-2020. Participants will not only gain insight and practice of the team coaching competencies, but also a unique understanding of the vision, background, context and philosophy behind them.  The question  of what differentiates teams from groups will be touched upon, and also how to deal with both as a coach.  Last but not least, attention will be paid to how the team coaching competencies work together with the “conventional core competencies” as we all know them. Prepare yourself for a very interactive, intense experience where the ICF team coaching competencies will truly come alive!

We will learn how to upgrade our actual way of working with teams, into the official ICF approach, and get the chance of bringing this into practice.
