Session Description

ICF requires us to have mentor coaching to gain our credentials and advises us to have supervision. What’s the difference? Can you and should you have both?
Jenny Bird, MCC who has mentored numerous coaches for all levels of credential, been an ICF credentialing assessor and was for about 7 years the person in the UK who answered all the queries about credentials, will guide us through the difference and tell us why, in her view, if we’re serious about our coaching practice, we should all be in supervision regularly! Jenny still is….even after 20 years as a coach. She’ll share the definitions, benefits and possibilities.
This session will challenge you to think about what challenges you in your coaching practice, how you learn and develop as a coach and how you keep fresh in your skills and approaches as well as connected with professional practice.

Your Take-aways

At the end of the sessions participants will have;

  • Identified and explored the differences between ICF mentor coaching and supervision
  • Reflected on the challenges and queries they notice in their work
  • Considered how they reflect on their own practice.
