The International Coach Federation’s (ICF) local registered ICF Malaysia Charter Chapter is in her 12th year. We are proud to present the 3rd biennial Conference this November 8th, bringing together coaches, business leaders, human resource professionals, and all parties interested in leadership development across Asia Pacific as well as from other continents.

Wai K Leong, MCC
Wai K holds an MCC credential from ICF and has more than 15 years experience as a professional coach. He works with organisations, equipping leaders with coaching skills, enhancing team performance and building individual leadership talents. He specializes in working with organizations to help them create a coaching culture.

Wai K is an author of 2 best­ selling books on coaching and he currently contributes to ICF Global Board as Vice Chair. Wai K has trained more than 10,000 leaders on coaching and leadership skills and have accumulated more than 3000 hours of coaching.

He runs a coaching academy that trains coaches to achieve the ICF credentials. Wai K brings with him more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in the corporate world and his clients are among the fortune 500 list of companies such as IBM, Siemens, Microsoft, DHL, Nestle, Singapore Airlines, Coca Cola and Prudential.

Summit Topic: Power of Team Coaching
Focusing on the challenges in the ever­changing corporate environment. You will learn effective ways to unleash potential for sustainable performance. Team coaching is about harnessing the full potential of teams by working together in trust, harmony and balance to generate unprecedented results. It is about supporting the team to appreciate their differences and leveraging on the diversity of their experiences and skills to achieve Stakeholder’s objectives.

The team coaching process helps individuals in teams, develop confidence and abilities to brings out their best so as to collaborate and synergize within the team environment. Discover researches and findings that will help your team perform at a higher level.

The internal or external team coach requires specific competencies to generate these results due to the presence of group dynamics. In this session, participants will learn the distinctions between group and team coaching and the stages of team development. You will learn how to build effective communications in teams and the critical stages involved in process. The challenges of being a team coach and the skills required will be highlighted in the session.
