Event Plan

Date: 5th November 2019         Venue: Setia City Convention Center

Part a: The theme - Insight | Inspire | ignite

The theme is created to reflect a coaching process where once insight is gained, the individual will be inspired and light up the world around him/her by sharing the learning or take inspired actions for the battlement of his / her environment.

1.    Creating transformational learning experiences for participants:

Participants will take away useful tools / templates from speakers in the following structure:

· 45-minute keynote sessions addressing all audience

· Two streams of 75-minute break-out sessions:

  • Stream 1: Geared towards corporate audience – focusing on the challenges in the ever-changing corporate environment. Audience will learn effective ways to unleash potential for sustainable performance.
  • Stream 2: Geared towards coaching professional – focusing on the opportunities for coaches’ advancement. Learn new skills and approaches on how to leverage the power of coaching and enable your clients to perform at their full potential.

Part B: AGENDA

The program is created with the objective to facilitate better coaching awareness for corporates and new learning for professional coaches. Participants will take away useful tools / templates from speakers, in addition to learning from Speakers’ actual experience in the journey of insight, inspire and ignite in their own development, be in coaching career, coaching business development or implementing coaching culture. The full day agenda is as follow:

PART C: THE SPEAKERS & EMCEE

There will be 7 speakers, topics to go according to the theme – Insight, Inspire and Ignite. Each breakout speaker will be supported by an emcee in their respective breakout session.

1. Objective:

To attract inspiring speakers who can share their experience in the journey of Insight, Inspire and Ignite.

2.    Structure:

  1. Three keynote speakers – two of them cover a 45 min keynote in the morning, and one as closing keynote to summarize the theme of Insight, Inspire, Ignite
  2. Panel session – to share the benefits of receiving coaching
  3. Four breakout session speakers – each cover 1 hour session with more details sharing in their knowledge and experience, preferable to have tools for participants to take away for some initial level of changes that they can implement.

3.    Session Format:

The format of the 45-minute key-note sessions are:

  • 2 minutes for your introduction to participants by a representative of the program
  • 33 minutes for your content / program
  • 10 minutes for Q&A

5. Process to apply as speakers

  1. Potential speakers may write in directly or reach us through invitation, and complete ‘Request for Proposal’ (RFP) template.
  2. All RFP will be reviewed by an appointed panel of reviewers. The panel consists of tenure members of ICF Malaysia Chapter. Collective decision will be made on appointing of the suitable speakers with the right topics that are relevant to the theme.

6. Gratitude towards speakers:

As ICF is a non-profit organization, we rely on potential sponsorship and contributions from speakers to make this event a success. At the same time, we are grateful and would like to extend our gratitude towards speakers through the following:

a. 1 Exhibition tabletop of speakers’ organization during the event

b. Speakers’ profile in the Summit web page and Summit printed booklet

c. 2 complimentary tickets to the event

d. 2 nights’ hotel accommodation near event venue

e. Subsidized travel and any other expenses, for speakers coming from outside of Malaysia;

  • USA, Europe, Middle East - RM5,000 for their travel expenses
  • Asia/Australia/NZ - RM3,000 for their travel expenses
  • Outside of Klang Valley - RM1,000 for their travel expenses

f. Speaker fee is not applicable.
